Lifting a 12 Ton Tank

To showcase the strength of advanced 3D printing, UltiMaker collaborated with the Royal Netherlands Navy and Covestro to design and produce a carbon fiber composite link. The resulting 2-kilogram part successfully lifted a 12-tonne armored vehicle, proving that additive manufacturing can create reliable, load-bearing parts for the most demanding applications.
